ANNOUNCEMENT: Ammeris forms the Ammeris Blockchain Foundation

The team at Ammeris is pleased to announce the inception of the Ammeris Blockchain Foundation, a non-profit organization that has been tasked with the mission of overseeing and building away from inefficient and environmentally detrimental systems in distributed ledger technology (DLT) and blockchain. To do this, the Foundation will release the Ammeris Platform for decentralized applications later this year, which will provide a sustainable, interoperable, and scalable network for projects who want to focus on building and delivering real distributed applications for users globally.

Various members of Ammeris' team will be taking active positions at the Foundation in the coming months, including serving on the board of directors and its various standing committees. The Foundation will also be starting an initial coin offering (ICO) later this month.

The Foundation is committed to transparency and accountability. To reflect these principles, all committee charters, minutes, policies, and financial audits will be published online at www.ammeris.com/documents.
